Ph.D., Cell Biology, University of Texas Medical Branch (2002)

Postdoctoral, Biochemistry, Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University

Teaching Interests

My primary responsibilities are in teaching.  My past research included structure-function studies of peptide-delivery vehicles and the mechanisms of posttranslational modifications on protein function.  Currently, I am a full-time participant and faculty member in the human gross anatomy and medical histology teaching courses.  I also have an interest in medical education, with a concentration in developing strategies for enriching the teaching and learning of the anatomical sciences.
