Research Interests

Cellular and molecular mechanisms of alcohol and drug addiction; effects of alcohol, nicotine and other drugs on brain development and cellular function; PKA and PKC signal transduction pathways; use of primary and immortalized cell cultures, immunocytochemistry, phosphorylation and binding assays, FACS and molecular biological techniques.

I participate in graduate training as a member of the faculty in the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience.
