Summer Preceptorship
The Texas Statewide Family Medicine Preceptorship Program is designed to increase the number of Texas medical students choosing a career in family medicine, to teach undergraduate medical students the concepts and skills appropriate to family medicine, and to expose Texas medical students to the broad scope of family medicine as an aid toward their ultimate selection of a specialty and practice site. The students will spend a total of four weeks with a Family Medicine Preceptor to increase their clinical skills. If you would like more information on this program please feel free to contact Teri Musia at 979-845-7829 or visit the Program's website at http://www.familymedicinepreceptorship.org.
