EDUCATION - M1

The department offers two required courses for first-year students. Working with Patients, taught in the fall of the first year, introduces students to patient interviewing, how to take and report a complete medical history and medical vocabulary.

In the spring of the first year, faculty in family medicine teach Physical Diagnosis which introduces students to performing and reporting a complete physical exam.
