Given the increasing importance of USMLE scores in matching into a residency of the student’s choice, the USMLE Task Force has been charged to investigate what the College of Medicine might do to assist students in doing well on this important exam. A group of faculty and administrators will meet and review best practices elsewhere, literature on the subject, and review the College of Medicine’s current system for USMLE preparation. The committee will deliver a set of recommendations to the Dean by late spring for consideration.
