The College of Medicine Communications Coordinator interacts with the news media to produce the following:

• Arranging interviews, video sessions and photo opportunities - The Communications Coordinator responds to inquiries from local, national and international media seeking information on medical breakthroughs, research discoveries and general healthcare stories.
• News releases - News releases provide reporters information about research, events and other important news involving the College of Medicine. The office posts news at the Texas A&M Health Science Center News site.
• Dean's E-Newsletter - The monthly Dean's E-Newsletter contains news and events for the faculty, staff and students at the College of Medicine.
• Experts lists - Reporters looking for experts on specific topics can search the Experts Database.
• Dean's Report - The Dean's Report is an annual publication of news and features faculty, students, alumni, research and community outreach at the College of Medicine.

For College of Medicine Faculty, Staff, Students and Partners

The College of Medicine Communications Coordinator interacts with members of the College of Medicine community to ensure that internal and external messages are coordinated in a timely and appropriate manner.

Please notify the Communications Coordinator every time you receive a media inquiry. In turn, the Communications Coordinator will respond to calls from reporters and will develop a strategy for publicizing your latest project, research or event.
