TEMPLE, Texas (March 16, 2006) - Dr. Donald DiPette, professor and head of the Internal Medicine Department, has agreed to serve as Interim Executive Associate Dean for the College of Medicine on the Temple campus and Chief Academic Officer for Scott & White. He will assume the position effective April 1, 2006 and serve in that capacity until a permanent replacement has been appointed.

The leaderships of the College of Medicine, Scott & White, and the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System are delighted that Dr. DiPette has agreed to serve in this position, as well as continue his role as head of the Internal Medicine Department. He will be instrumental in helping the college and health systems establish the infrastructure on the Temple campus for the four-year track.
