CVRI host second scientific retreat

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (October 18, 2006) – On Thursday and Friday, October 19-20, 135 cardiovascular scientists from the Texas A&M University System are convening at the Hilton Hotel and Conference Center in College Station to participate in oral and poster presentations of basic and clinical research on the heart and blood vessels. In addition, renowned investigators from other institutions are delivering keynote addresses at the retreat.
The scientific meeting is sponsored by the Cardiovascular Research Institute, a multidisciplinary research unit of the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine.
