Enhancing the College of Medicine

It is an extremely exciting time at the College of Medicine as we experience unprecedented growth and reach more people through medical education and scientific research. The Office of Institutional Advancement proudly furthers the mission of the College of Medicine through both outreach and development activities designed to advance the reputation of the College within the medical and scientific communities.

Outreach events keep College of Medicine former students connected to the College through gatherings such as the annual reunion.  The local community is also reached and enriched through events such as Mini Med School, a forum that offers current health-related information to Brazos Valley residents.

Our development team works to raise charitable contributions that support the growth and expansion of the College of Medicine.  These giving programs help the College to attract the most talented faculty and students to the College through faculty chairs, student fellowships, and building initiatives.

The communications team serves as the information gateway between these programs and the faculty, staff, and former and current students whose education and research make us one of the leading medical institutions in the country.
