Sarnoff Fellowship Program
The Sarnoff program is a year-off research training program for medical students funded by the Sarnoff foundation. The program is designed for students between their second and third or third and fourth years of medical school who are interested in cardiovascular medicine. Possible research topics are very broad as the foundation supports a very liberal definition of cardiovascular research. The fellowship may be completed at any US medical school. The application requires the identification of a faculty sponsor at the medical school where the applicant wishes to do the fellowship, but a specific project does not need to be in place at the time of application. Up to 18 fellows are selected each year. A stipend ($25K) plus travel, moving, conference and insurance funds are provided to the fellow.
