The College of Medicine encourages current and prospective students to engage in a variety of research activities – both basic and clinical – during the summer break. The research begins after the academic year is completed and lasts for 10 weeks. Students are assigned to College of Medicine faculty in College Station or Temple based on interests and convenience of location. In addition, students are paid a research stipend during this period.
