Training Fellowships for Medical Students

Skip breadcrumb navigation This is a year long research training year funded by the HHMI for medical students only. The fellowship will fund many different types of research at any academic or non-profit medical institution (i.e. at your own or any other medical school in the country) but requires that you identify a mentor and project before applying. The research plan for the year is an integral part of the application. Individual fellows are required to arrange all of their own living arrangements. Funding includes a base stipend ($25K+), plus an institutional allowance (travel, research expenses, etc.) and an allowance to the institution on behalf of the fellow (insurance, tuition, etc.).

Information on the application, deadlines and other program details can be found at the following website: http://www.hhmi.org/grants/individuals/medfellows.html
