• NIH Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP)
  • This program is a residential one-year research training program at the National Institutes of Health is Bethesda, MD.
• NIH/Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship
  • This is a year long research training year funded by the HHMI for medical students only. The fellowship will fund many different types of research at any academic or non-profit medical institution
• NIH Year-Off Training Program for Medical Students
  • This is another year-off research opportunity at the National Institutes of Health. It is designed for medical or graduate students of any level, and provides funding for research on any available topic at the NIH in Bethesda, MD or at off-campus NIH locations located in Frederick, MD, Hamilton, MT, Research Triangle, NC and Phoenix, AZ.

• Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship (DDCRF)
  • This program is funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and supports research funding for medical students at one of ten different selected locations.

• Sarnoff Fellowship Program
  • The Sarnoff program is a year-off research training program for medical students funded by the Sarnoff foundation. The program is designed for students between their second and third or third and fourth years of medical school who are interested in cardiovascular medicine.
• Fogarty Ellison Overseas Fellowships in Global Health and Clinical Research
  • The Fogarty-Ellison Research Fellowship is an NIH funded year of international clinical research in an underdeveloped country.
