American Medical Students Association

Skip breadcrumb navigation

The American Medical Students Association (AMSA) is the largest independent medical student association in the nation. Being a member of AMSA gives you the opportunity to become involved in AMSA's action committees and their educational programs, publications and support networks. It gives you opportunity to attend excellent regional and national AMSA conventions, and most importantly, it gives you direct leadership voice in guiding our association by means of proposing and voting on resolutions to its House of Delegates. For more information, visit http://amsa.org/ .

As the local chapter of AMSA at Texas A&M HSC College of Medicine, we do many things throughout the year to promote the initiatives of the national organization. The purpose is to build relationships between medical students across the nation as well as within each chapter and to promote awareness of issues affecting medicine and medical students.
