About Research and Graduate Studies


The Office of Research supports and enhances the college's research programs and facilitates the recognition of excellence of our researchers and graduate students.

Faculty and staff can access Office of Research and Graduate Studies materials on the College of Medicine Intranet.

Summer Research Program gives undergraduate students from any institution to pursue a future career in biomedical research. It is a 10-week program.

Graduate Studies

The Texas A&M Medical Science Graduate Program provides cutting-edge research education training through various degrees in medical science, administered in cooperation with the College of Medicine and Texas A&M University.

The Office of Graduate Studies supports the faculty, staff, and students of these programs with a variety of resources all geared toward improving each student's individual experience.

Postdoctoral Affairs

Postdoctoral Affairs provides support for and enhances the training and development of the postdoctoral researchers of the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. OPA provides Texas A&M Health Science Center postdocs with career and professional development opportunities and counsels on university policies and practices and life in the community.
