About the Symposium

The Texas A&M College of Medicine Office of Admission invites prospective applicants to medical school to the Medical School Applicant Symposium.

This one-day symposium will help to clarify the medical school application process for participants who are considering a career in medicine. We will provide informational workshops for undergraduate students and post-graduates.

The symposium will feature presentations by physicians, and medical school faculty and staff on such topics as:

  • Applying to medical school
  • The medical school interview
  • Advice for reapplicants and non-traditional students
  • Medical student panels
  • Tour of the SIMS Center and Texas A&M Health Scince Center facilities
  • Presentations by our faculty

Faculty, admissions representatives, and current medical students will be available to answer questions.
