The National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine (NYLF-Med) provides opportunities for the nation’s highest achieving high school students to gain real-world medical career experience and explore professional career opportunities in the expanding fields of medicine and health care. This valuable career exploration takes place in 13 cities across the U.S. each summer – cities specifically chosen for their world-class medical universities, hospital, facilities and research centers.
The NYLF-Med introduces outstanding high school students to the world of medicine. This ten-day summer program introduces students to professionals from some of the nation’s top medical centers and faculty from renowned institutions of learning.
Each year, the Texas A&M University College of Medicine's Office of Admissions is one of the host sites for the NYLF-Med Houston/Galveston site.
