Education for Healthcare Professionals
The mission of the Education for Healthcare Professionals (EDHP) is to educate healthcare professionals and researchers to be exemplary educators and leaders possessing qualifications necessary to advance knowledge and technologies that improve healthcare globally.
The purpose of the Graduate Program in Education for Healthcare Professionals (EDHP) is to provide the training necessary to produce effective leaders in health professions education. Accordingly, the program recruits health professionals who have, or are preparing for, educational leadership positions but who lack formal training in education and/or leadership.
From the Director
"The Education for Healthcare Professionals (EDHP) was developed to help prepare current and future educators to teach and lead a new generation of healthcare professionals. The program is delivered online in a unique collaboration between the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Dentistry. Co-directors at each of the Colleges assures that that the needs of each of the professions are met and that the standards and rigor are high. I look forward to helping move this program forward as we grow."
