Reporting Location: The MRSP is an eight to 12 week program that runs from June through August. The program can be completed in Temple, Houston or Bryan-College Station, but attendance at the Aug. 2 poster presentation in Bryan-College Station is mandatory.

Program:  MRSP students will attend a series of lectures that complement the lab experience and explore the needed elements of a biomedical research project. This series includes talks in which principles of scientific investigation, publication, research funding, ethical aspects of human and animal experimentation, and regulatory issues will be discussed. Additional topics of these weekly meetings include faculty presentations of research and attendance at monthly clinical science and translational research (CSTR) grand rounds. A sample program listing of topics presented is attached.
