The Division of Molecular Cardiology was created in July of 1999. The inception of this program was brought about through the combined efforts of The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center, College of Medicine; Scott & White; and the Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Texas Veterans Health Care System. Dedicated on November 12, 1999, the center includes ~8500 square feet of laboratories, offices, and conference areas.
