Student Community Health Initiative (SCHI) serves as a health outreach program in Bell County. The organization was established in January 2009 and is run by first and second year medical students. SCHI holds an annual HealthFest involving many community organizations to offer health information and health screenings to Bell County residents. Also, SCHI holds regular immunization clinics for underinsured children through the TVFC program.
